Cheap Wedding FlowersPosted on February 24, 2010. What is a cheap alternative to wedding flowers? I want the look of flowers but not the price (where I saw the cheapest is $ 250) and I'm on a tight budget. I was wondering if there is no way I can have flowers that look great without the price tag. I just want to spend maybe 100. I have three bridesmaids, three married men, and a flower girl. I am also married to a flower or something, the two moms and two grandmoms. Ideas? I do not really use fake flowers either. Its an outdoor wedding I am not to go to my flowers Costco.com or simply put ribbons around the bouquets groceries. Wrong, I tell you, silk is the way forward. I had an outdoor wedding and I used silk flowers in bouquets, bouteneres, shrouds and arcade. I used real petals for the flower girl to throw of course, I did not have someone pick up a bunch of fake petals and also in some other places. I wanted a very expensive and seasonal flowers and get them handtying silk was so much cheaper and they looked great that you can not even tell in the pictures they were false. Another plus is that it will be so much easier to put your bouquet so it's important to you. If you insist on real flowers, you can always go to the flower shop, a few days before the ceremony and see what they have in stock in the season and will be cheaper than having to find and ship flowers . Think simple. I just ordered boutinerres green carnation and baby breath for an opportunity that was $ 2.50/each. A rose bud can be a bit more but not much. Guys all supported. Bridesmaids: Make wearing a long stemmed rose or a flower of some pretty season the local grocery store, Wal-Mart or other store that bears flowers. Go to a craft store and buy a roll of ribbon and tie the same tape. You could do the same thing for moms and grandmoms. For the flower girl, do some flowers, tied with a ribbon. You can probably manage all for about $ 50 dollars. Hello. CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment |
