A double boiler is a large pot that you fill with water and has a small pot inside to melt the wax, hence the name. The wax can burn if you melt using a single pot. When melted, place the wick in the middle of the mold or container and pour the wax so it is completely up the mold. Before attempting to remove the mold, the wax needs to cool down anywhere between two to four hours. Some people put their masterpiece in the freezer for about 15 minutes to half an hour.
