Engraved Wedding Gifts

Engraved Wedding GiftsWho's initials should be engraved on donations to the wedding?

We are both wondering who should go on the initial donations we receive from our respective parties. It becomes a clock / compass engraved, and I am getting bracelets. If our initials be on the gift, or is it the initials of the recipient?

Why would you put your initials on a gift for someone else? If they will use their initials engraved it is they who must carry and use.

It should be the initials of the recipient.

you're supposed to put the initials of the person giving it away! it is custom for them!

The Initital recipient, why would they want a bracelet or a compass with your initials on them?

Gifts for your wedding should be personalized for each person, so that their initials. If you want to do some type of party favors for guests at the wedding, you can put your initials and your husband on them.

Definitely, the person who receives it. I do not think your daughters will want to wear a bracelet with your initials above LOL

It depends what they mean for you if they mean a lot, so it really does not matter what you put on it, but all recipients

The initials of the recipient must go to them if they are a gift to that person.

I would put the initials of the recipients. Put yourself in their position, who would want something with a monogram monogram someone else?

Each agent must receive a gift with their own initials as this will be their gift and your hope is no doubt they will remember the question and use it. It would be strange, for example, wear a bracelet that was some other name.

Give them personalized gifts for them, they will remember it was a great gift for your wedding without having your initials to remind them:)

It should be the intitial recipient. brides and grooms too many make this mistake and put their initials or names. your person does not want your name or even the date of marriage or anything on their site. just put their name or their initials.

You put the initials of the recipient on a gift. Why do you want a gift with the initials of another person????

It would be better if the initials of Giving

The initial recipient. One idea - if you have bridesmaids who are very fast, you can choose to use their new initials instead?
