Festive Rent

We stayed at the W 96th Street last year and loved the freedom of our own place and want to rent an apartment again for our trip in December. We booked a hotel for 6 nights at Christmas, but need an apartment to rent preferably between Calle 30 & 60. We do not want to pay more than $ 200 per night. Does anyone know of any family go during the holiday season that wouldnt mind renting two Australians?

There are websites that home exchanges. My friend does it all the time. You use the house, car, etc., and are responsible for things like cleaning and care for pets. Just find a good site that checks for owners, and ensure they are insured. If you need, I could find my friend the catalog that his house was closed in.
