I saw some beautiful floating candle centers ... but I have some concerns ... Has anyone used these? I had some at my wedding, and they do not come out being hit. However you want to make sure they dont light too far in advance, make sure they highlight more than 15 minutes before everyone is expected. Mine started out to be burned for some time. But the candle is a beautiful and elegant touch of a wedding:) Well, it will be children at your wedding? If so, it would not be a good idea to have these. I never had a floating candle out by the table being bumped. Talk to your host site or the coordinator on when the candles should be lit. Try to find someone to enlighten them at the earliest 15 minutes before the guests arrive. The reception is typically about 4-5 hours, which is perfect, even for small floating candles. You can burn one at home one day you're home all day to see what the normal duration is burning the candle and weather or not it burns evenly. Good luck! I LOVE the first ... wow! We have centers floating candle for the table and cake table. They have also been floating cranberries, it was a winter wedding. The candles do not go out and I loved the ambeince has created. You can do yourself to go to cheap-Hobby Lobby for candles and candle holders glass pretty. the second link would be your best bet. The first will burn quickly. Also make sure they do not have too high. I think floating candles are elegant for the teachers. I was at a wedding that use them. They were more like that with a mirror behind: those are cool, I think the more the effort, the less likely that the flame goes out.
