Inexpensive Bridal Shower Invitations

Does anyone have any suggestions? I want them plainish, no heart or images sticky, something simple?

I had a great plain maps pre-cut at the AC Moore & Michaels (craft store) on sale for $ 5 per pack, but they are regularly $ 9 or $ 10.
They came with envelopes and I was able to run in my computer printer.
I've used it to record everything from the date cards to thank you for the commitment of our party and even in a pinch, I made birthday cards.
They are usually sold in packages of 40 or 50, or sometimes just 10 (small packages tend to cost more). Colour printers are ideal for the design of high cards, but even if I ran them through my black and white LaserJet and stamps used to dress' em up.

You can buy cardstock at Michael's (or another craft store) and print your own invitations. You can get a pack of cardstock for Abu $ 5 - $ 8.

Seriously. Go to Wal-Mart and look in the gift wrap aisle. We found the basic, no flowers Goody Goody bridal shower invites. 10 in a package of $ 3.27. The shower should be easy after all that we do for the wedding, right?

We bought off a guy who sells on eBay Invitation paper / then developed using a MS programs. They came really nice! Saved a lot of money, got to do what we wanted for them and it did not take longer than if we had printed.
He sells them in packages of paper and envelopes of various sizes for whatever your printer take.
