Invitation Clip Art

Posted on March 27, 2010.
Invitation Clip ArtInvitation design and I would like to know best place to find where to print and clip art.?

I am interested in started my own company announcements invitation. I learned a lot about how to make the designs as well but I would like to know where to find some cute clip art for wedding and baby shower, etc. .. Also, I do not have my printing supplies and need to know a place to print them. Any other information you have on how to create invitations would be wonderful.

You need to be careful where you get your clip art, because most stock photos and clip art is not available for resale. Aka you can not buy a picture of $ 1 and then sell them on t-shirts, mugs and greeting cards. There are special licenses for it.

Thus, to avoid potential legal problems, you should:

- Create your own art or pay someone to do

- Find art that is truly * public * (but a lot of art that claims to be in the public domain is not so much to learn about it)

- See if you can find a CD or a Web site with a skill that you can resell explicitly how you plan.

Please keep in mind that you'll never be able to legally sell calls that contain characters from Disney, Looney Tunes, etc., unless you have a special license agreement with Disney directly (not going to happen ).

You can never get into trouble, but if you want to be sure to avoid this, be aware of the license and the conditions of use that goes with this art. Art for a private use is a simple question, but for resale it gets complicated. And if you plan to advertise your online calls, many people can see, if you want to be legal.

REVISED to say: I just checked and they dreamstime.com selling a license to print view certain images (what you need) for $ 50 per image, which is a very good deal. Thus, you can do, just a budget for it.

A fun and easy way to quickly create your wedding invitations is to go CropMom.com http://www.cropmom.com. Cropmom is a line of Scrapbooking, collage, card making site.

Send your photos. Make your invitation to use them. You can add your own text. There are thousands of graphics to use to create your invitation. The site has templates and kits dedicated to different themes. And you can mix and match any of the thousands of charts as a result of your desire to create.

Then save it. Go to My CropMom and click on the layout. Then click the "Share" link. It lets you enter the email address and your invitation to screen quality will be sent by e-mail for free.

For print quality, you can buy a JPEG file of your creation (it is not expensive) and download to your computer.

From there you can print your layout at home. Either the model of our printed by Shutterfly, Snapfish and Costco.

Snapfish also allows you to display images inside the card, so I used to do a layout, not only for the cover of the card, but inside the card.
