Make Your Own Wedding Album

Posted on February 8, 2010.
Make Your Own Wedding AlbumQuestion wedding album?

Have you done / design your own wedding album, or have you had where you have booked your photographer to make you one? And why? I know it would be cheaper to mine, but it's worth the money to have professionally created?

I think it's worth the money, professional albums are very beautiful album.

I made my own .. which is more beautiful than any professional album ...
for my photographer to have taken a would have cost much, so I am a DVD with all photos on it and made my own ...
This way you can have as many pictures as you want ..

it is much cheaper that way .. takes a little time but it is when you see the final result ..

I'm still working on mine, but I do myself, by Picabo. I had many friends to take some pictures at our wedding truly remarkable, and I want to integrate them into the album. I have some very specific ideas about what I want and I'm not willing to spend $ 1,000 (which is what my photographer load) in the hope he understands what I want. In this way, I know I'll get exactly what I want.

I take my time doing, and watching as many albums as I can online to get ideas. Overall, I will put about $ 950 (not counting my time) - which is worth it for me.

It depends on how you're crafty. Ask your photographer - some will make a complimentary wedding album that looks more like a professional portfolio based on how many prints you order and what your plan is.

I did mine on snapfish.com. He looked really good, and people have commented on this! I had all the pictures on CD, so I put in the computer, and two hours later, I'm done! It was about 36 dollars when I was done, compared to 200 or more I talked to the photographer would charge, and more personal that way!

I wanted my photographer to do mine, but they charged $ 1,200 just for the album. I must say that if they did include 40 pages and all features unlike some other photographers, but I have not seen that much to pay. So since they gave me a disk with all my pictures, I'll do it myself.

I found a site (www.blurb.com) which has a free program to use. I have not downloaded, because of computer problems, but I looked in their bookstore, they are good quality books. Also, you can not beat having full control over your album will be constructed.

If you have the original files, I recommend you make your own. You'll save money and get the photo album you want. There pleny websites out there that you can use to create beautiful albums.

One site I use is ww.mpix.com. Mpix is low to mid-budget pro photographers use to create albums.

Now, here is the type cavata, photograhpers normally alter their images before creating an album, in addition, their screens are calibrated. Albums created by photographers are expensive because they take much time.
