Hello, I am a Brahmin who fled and married a Punjabi. Now, I need a good formulation for the invitation of our host.

Note: Its been 1.5 years for my marriage. Our parents have finally agreed today we nad we all want to party. Please help.

Mr. & Mrs. (his parents names) request your honor to celebrate their son (name)
first birthday (your name) daughter (your parents' names.)

Well you can say something to the effect of: Please join us to celebrate together with our families, our successful marriage and friendship.
