Mini Wedding Cake Favors

Does anyone know a really good place, but cheap to get little mini cakes as wedding favors. I live in New York and only a limited amount of $ for favors if someone can please help me find a place that would be greatly appreciated. If this is not in New York is also good as they are cheaper. Thank you.

If you're talking mini-cakes instead of cookies ... they were too expensive for us. I have cited in Michigan approximately $ 7 - $ 9 for each mini cakes ($ 1.25 vs. $ 2.50 for cupcakes). It takes a lot of work to frost all (while the cupcakes are frosted on top), so that you pay for their time.

Call around the bakery, but unfortunately, I think you'll find this is a more expensive favors. (

You need to call around to local bakers for cake can not be shipped from the area without something happening to them. Mini cakes are labor for the baker, so be prepared to be more expensive per person than a regular wedding cake.

Make your own then you'll have more money for finishing touches, just put the cake on a Dollie in a transparent box with a silk flower on top of your wedding colors.
