Outdoor Wedding Candles

Posted on February 9, 2010.
Outdoor Wedding CandlesWhat is an option for an outdoor wedding instead of candles??

Thinkg I have a wedding at the door. I want my children to become engaged to the candle lighters. Having candles outside is not going to work, we hope that someone has a creative solution and fun.

During the wedding ceremony you can have the ceremony performed sand.

fireflies

you can wear something in the driveway, like flowers to be distributed to family members as special moms and grandmas who were sitting in the front row.

How about little bits of White Christmas pot lights.in if you have fire power path near or outside?

chines lanterns you keep candles and children used to burn

You could make some fake candles and vases using yellow, red and orange cellophane

or use plug in the lights and put them in a tree and they can plug in.

Candles work if they have orbs around them.
I have seen candles inside Mason jars suspended from hooks Shephard.

You can also use candles oil

Tiki torches! I had an outdoor wedding in my local park and used Tiki's. I found a bit of citronella to them so they also worked as an insect repellent (and didn't really bad smell). Garlands of Christmas lights work well because they come in all sorts of different colors now. You find them in your wedding colors and twist them together. String them around the tables or tents or other. (If power is available, of course. Or they make the battery operated mini games too.)

Just had a thought. they now make tea lights battery operated. You can use outside centerpieces. The ones I bought flicker like real things. They do not heat and the battery lasts a really long time.

they have these really cool battery candle operated "candles" in craft stores, you press the button at the bottom and smaller lights flash like real candles ... much safer too, and can be used again and again ... Maybe you could use these ..

One idea would be to have sparklers - you can get the alliances that are very safe and very easy to light, and then the children will escort after the flares will:)

Candles with a high glass thing around them work.

They have electric candles.

What about floating flowers with colored water and use as color daisies

Should it be a spark plug or a lighting solution? Because for many outdoor weddings instead of a candle ceremony people were ceremonies sand. There are generally three colors of sand in three different pots. You, your husbands and pot center is to represent God. Instead of lighting the unity candle that you pay your guys sand into the jar at the same time center "link" it. It is also neat that you can keep your sand forever on your coat.

You can have your children carry the sand to the altar, instead of lighting candles.

dollar stores have battery operated candles and lamps tea

Martha Stewart Lighting Lacy directions on its website. They need paper bags, doilies, glue and tealights. The tealights can be powered by battery.

Well, instead of a candle lighting ceremony, the officiant of my marriage has to prepare two sets of wine glasses. We each handed a glass of wine, then had to pour wine into a glass, from which we both took a sip.
