Palm Tree Favor Boxes

Palm Tree Favor BoxesHow do I prevent my cat from crapping in a pot plant?

I brought a large palm tree inside for the winter and since I did my cat decided to abandon her litter box in favor of the plant. She is digging in it and will not stop using it as a toilet. When we are awake, it does not - it does in the night.

We have many large factories in the house and she has never adopted a litter as far - it is only one.

Is there something I can spray on or something to keep away from him? It does not damage the plant itself - just pooping in floor.

My friend had this problem. She covered gravel (not pea gravel, but larger, as the size of strawberries).

You can spray the soil with cayenne pepper or you can take some of the dirt around the plant. Then get wire mesh and cut it so that you can change it in the pot and around the hollow shaft. Put the dirt back on the mesh. When your cat digs its nails can get caught in the wire and do not like it and it must stop using it as bedding.

My cats do this too. Its really easy. Just get the stones and put them in your plant for ground cover. Make them the size of a golf ball. Perhaps even more pointed, not completely smooth

River rocks placed on the ground to divert it from its use. I've also seen mesh screens that go on the ground in Petsmart. Do not use pepper. It could have an allergic reaction or it could cause blisters in his mouth out.

We had the same problem, and we bought a big bag of decorative stones from a garden center. We put them in the pot, so that our cats could not sit on the ground, and rocks look great too. We have never had a problem since.

Usually, pine cones do the trick. Fill the planter with them, they have had enough sharp edges that cats do not want to lug it.

I want to get the foam and put it on the ground, then put stones or shells great about it.
