Personalized Wedding Matchbooks

Posted on April 5, 2010.
Personalized Wedding MatchbooksPersonalized matches for marriage?

I just received an advertisement for a popular wedding site with a sale on "top of mind" and custom matches are available - - So I was wondering if anyone still buys those with smoking being cold these days ?

States adopt laws against smoking in indoor public places to the left and right. The tobacco companies are constantly subject to prosecution. Smoking cessation programs can get you a discount on your medical insurance in some places.

I do not get it myself, but I'm curious if anyone has them and why?

I suppose if you give a candle as a favor the matchbox would be useful, but when I see a box of matches my first thought is that it is for people who smoke.

I bought custom match for him because they were cheap .. and another inside just because smoking is not permitted ... Smoking is permitted outside .... many members of my family smoke, so I thought the other half I mint or a combination of what to choose. So you can make half is something else .. half of non-smokers

There are many things that you can use a box of matches for besides smoking. You talked about the lighting of candles, and it's true, I do think it is easier to light candles with a match with a lighter. Also, some people collect matchbooks. Most people will probably just keep a box of matches wedding custom in memory of the day. Personally, if I think that encourages this kind are a big waste of money. Go with something edible, like personalized M & M's or boxes of candy with your monogram stamped on the box or something like that. Then, customers will still feel like they are something, but they will not take anything home because they have already eaten.

Hey I was a non-smoker all my life and always keep on hand and a lighter result. You need at night to see a key in a lock, or if the lights go out in the buildiing and you need to light candles for emergencies? My Gosh think that matches are only for smokers. geesch!

Honestly, how many people use more matches? Even some recalcitrant smokers use lighters, no?

Favors are usually pretty useless. As a customer, I prefer they have the money they spent to favor one or more additional input during the cocktail hour, rather than give me a little tchochky I'll immediately throw.

hey Litl giving guests favors is a bit dumb i Duno take that money and put it in your marriage

I thought of those too because many people in our families are smokers, and many of them as well as candles. Even if they go in a drawer just visible again, they may still be useful later ...

It's just you and everything you want to do. I am also in favor of making candy too ^ _ ^

I just had an idea and not too expensive (I think) .. How would you make a few candles or find some cute little favors that you can put a tea light in and pass the matches in front of her. In this way, they take the thing for candle and something to light it with.

They also sell paper matches favors them instead of matches. but you can use the results for many things such as candles, if you do not smoke.

that used for BEA common, but I have not seen them used at weddings over the years, because nobody really uses more matches.

you may have made matchbooks that have mint in them or some kind of candy that are customized .. they are really cute. I have the software to make them and candy wrappers and use them for everything!

I use matches at home to light candles, etc., but I think even personalized matchbooks are kind of lame. And not because smoking is out of style, it's just a weird favor. It's just my opinion! It seems so old-fashi.
