Place Card Ideas

To create specially designed card holders without breaking the bank, start with a simple candle holder your design and build from there. For this project, you will need the following supplies:

• Candlesticks-We chose a simple store bought brown metal frame shaped like a leaf to represent the theme of the fall harvest. Ceramic work as well.
• Candles-We chose to use candles in the shape of an autumn leaf yellow and rust.
• Wired ribbon color of copper, but another color coordination is very good, and satin ribbon (about 6 inches long)
• Craft Scissors
• Glue Gun
• Glue sticks
• We used glass stones rust and colored stones
• artificial berries and nuts
• Sharpie pen black or brown
• punch

Step 1:

Place your candle in the middle of the candle holder. Using your glue gun, glue the glass stones and artificial berries and nuts at the base of the candle holder, focusing on the top of the door and the rod. Once your items are guaranteed the metal, go to step 2.

Step 2:

With your scissors boats, cut patterned paper maps to the desired length and fold in half. Then punch out a hole in the top left corner of the map using your drill. Then, using your Sharpie pen, write the name of each of your guests on each card.

Step 3:

Precut Wrap your ribbon around the base of the candle clip in the top of the candle by tying a bow. As a final touch, you can also consider packing light colored cellophane around your place card holder. You are now ready for your unique place card holder on the center of each plate.
