Save The Date Wedding Invitations

Save The Date Wedding InvitationsIs it necessary to send the cards before Save Date Wedding Invitations?

Hello

Just curious to know if it's better to just send the wedding invitations now, instead of first sending a card Save the date. We already know the date, church, and we want to invite. Why not send the invitations?

Thank you

Hello!

I'm having a very small wedding and I was wondering the same question, why sending cards when I can send out invitations?

However, I decided to make cute email (Word document, specifying the date and time and place of our image on it) to people present. Primarily because it is too early to send invitations now (my wedding is not until July), but few people really need a lot of time in advance to ask the working day, or simply save money to travel to marriage.

They are not really needed if we are not going to travel long distances to your wedding or if nobody really has a lot of advice to take time off work or something:)

It's really just a nice thing to do for the guests, and how they are planning for marriage, but not necessary:) You decide!

Good luck

Save the dates are for people who have to travel some distance to attend your wedding. It gives them a head to make vacation plans, take time off work and save money. While most people are local - no need to send.

Hello, not everyone sends "Save" date cards. You can send invitations, but you did not mention to what extent the date of your wedding. I'd like to send invite 2-3 months before the date .

Usually the only time to date the cards are sent is if the wedding is a destination wedding and people will travel far to go, or if the marriage takes place on or around holidays that require a recall invited for months in advance not to plan anything at the time, except for the wedding.

Typically, you do not send invites to eight weeks before the wedding. I think that is where the place where you are getting married needs to change the place or time ... you do not want to send your invites formal, then your site is not available (against floods, time issues, natural disasters, etc.) So, the backup date is for people to start to their homes. Then the official invitation is supposed to be as definitive as you can. Also, if you send the invites too early, you run the risk of forgetting the people! If I have an invitation to eight months in advance, I'd be hardpressed to remember! :) But that can only be me!

No, it is not necessary. In fact, most people do not send them. I do not for my wedding. and out of all marriages that I have been in my life I have only had one that sent the first recording dates.

I did not send save the date cards before I sent my invitation. I have been planning and have a wedding in a matter of two to three months. If you are eager to send something, but now it depends on the distance marriage is. I would not send invitations to more than six weeks before. If you have a little more time than that, did save the date cards. If you're sitting at 8-10 weeks or so before .... just wait and send invitations to less than 7 weeks.

It is not necessary to send save the date cards.
If you have many customers who travel for the wedding, then you can send them to know that info and hotel costs and time locked room.

I agree - put the dates are for people traveling long distances, but also for those who seek to 6-12 months. All it does is tell people to mark their calendar and invites are coming.

It is not necessary. The daughter of my friend got engaged while in college, and his planned marriage to his location, and put its commitment to our l.
