Silk Floral Centerpiece

Posted on March 2, 2010.
Silk Floral CenterpieceSilk or real flowers centers?

I'm torn. Natural silk or centers of flowers? The silk is much much cheaper, but real, seems better? Torn. Ideas? So what were your table centerpieces or centers you think look great? Pics are great, thanks.

Fake flowers look fake, no matter the level of quality. If you use flowers, opt for the real thing! You can buy them in bulk and make your own centerpeices for much cheaper than the florist would charge. You can use one or two long stems of flowers in a vase and some tabela few flower floating in a shallow dish and the other an in-between vessel size on the other for contrast. In addition, use the node for ideas mistress, they have tons!

For wholesale flowers, I recommend Grower's Box (www.growersbox.com) as I've used many times in the past.

My brother had small rings (about 10 "diameter) of fresh flowers (daisies and carnations to keep the cost down) and he has a hurricane glass with a candle in the middle of each. Flowers and orders was a color coordinating fabric square to link everything. It was good.

My mother and I love the fresh flowers are going crazy and having frsh flowers everywhere - all over the church, rose petals along the walkways around the place of receipt and on all fronts. Our flower budget was only $ 2,700 and we managed to stay at $ 2,698!

Good luck!

We use candles. We did not want to pay big money for real flowers that would die the next day anyway, and nobody would really even notice, but we do not want silk flowers, either, because no matter how high as they are, they are still not real (did not like the symbolism).

Candles, however, to create the most wonderful, warm, romantic, warm welcome in a place and in all honesty, I think they made a lot stronger than any piece is floral.

Personally, I use silk flowers because they will be close to customers. Must remember a lot .... people have sensitivities to the strong smell of flowers in particular. (I am one of them .... I'm having a migraine Instant certain odors) and allergies.

So please, not just for the love of your budget ...... but for the sake of those people who have sensitivities to odors and allergies ... go with silk.

My centers are coffee cups to tea light candles in rose petals and false unfolds around them. (We had a coffee theme since our first date was a coffee and we both love coffee) Some pictures we had a couple of flowers in coffee cups. Other tables that we had more simple candlesticks. Each table was a little different. We also used glass beads to protect the coffee wax candle. I have no photos of me since I'm at work though. O (

If you do real, potted plants, living longer and cost woth

My research consisted of a silver tray with a small glass bowl (a bit like a bowl of fish). The bottom of the tub was filled with clear glass beads and green and they were filled about 2 / 3 in full with a small white candles floating in them. I placed a single white calla beside them on the shelf. Callas was false, but not silk. They were near the rubber material that looked very realistic. Most components of the masters came from Dollar Tree and looked as if I had spent hundreds. The question of true or false, if you prefer real, Get Real. I mean, it's your wedding! You do not want to settle for something and then regret not getting what you want. However, you need to find the flowers you will use. Florists will say anything to make a sale. Some flowers such as calla lilies, must be kept very moist. So if your reception is outdoors or will take some time, you can go wrong because ev.
