Wedding Cake AccessoriesDoes anyone have good advice to make a wedding cake?

And do you know a good place or website to purchase accessories cake?

I did a lot of wedding cakes. Depends on the number of layers you have, but the use of wooden pegs, and make sure you cut the same size. Put four in the bottom layer, and lay the second layer. You can put a plastic divider between the two. The trick to keep the pie dish and do not rounded out the top, is to get serious about putting wet towels around the cake when you put it in the oven, do not touch the cake batter. not drippy wet, but almost. Get a book from Wilton, it is really good. I took lessons.

I used to make wedding cakes at home .... I learned from working in a bakery to bake my cake for a head of time, then I freeze it, then of course when it comes to icing you make the filling level ... then according to the cherry and the gentleness you want ... you ice with butter cream by itself, or ice and decorate with icing butter cream and then top with your ...... basis and then smooth .. I buy most of my stuff from Walmart (Wilton cake supplies) and some places .... when I started I could hire supplies cake at a local shop party ....

Tips

First order cakes cooked ready ... fruitcakes can be done a few months before ... but the same technique can be used on most cakes business.

Buy ready-made sweeter ... Fondant have what is needed to cake on the package ... and if you have a fruitcake, you can buy almond paste in the pack too, if you like.

The white color is a basic good ... and you can then use the colors in the decorations .... saves hassle trying to tint the fondant.

Cover the cake as directed on packages based ... If you're covering fruitcake, and do not use marzipan, icing make the layer a little thicker, as the cake can stain the cherry ...

Put the cake aside to dry a bit ... (It takes about 48 hours for this part ... so you give some time)

---------------------- Now for some fun ... decoration ...

icing flowers look great, and can be purchased ready made.

I use silk flowers, pearls, ribbons and small plastic ornaments to decorate cakes pastries ... and then you have memories too.

Buy enough of these to decorate the cakes in an arrangement, as you look good ... you can change the ideas a little, but have an idea of the look you want to achieve ... to add decorations to the top of each cake, get with some left over fondant.

The collar around each cake is made with beautiful lace, fell in places with advanced pearl pins.

Before adding the filling, stick to your cake on a decorated board covered with silver or gold foil, setting the cake a la carte with a little left over fondant.

Finally, if you want, use a light touch of PVA glue to cut the truck bed in lace to match or coordinate ... hold the trim down with pins while the glue dries ...

if time permits, do at least three months in advance .. Make sure the box is lined with very thick so as not to overcook the sides .. if it is a traditional cake that you want to try to find a recipe as old as they are by far the best .. Otherwise you can not really go too far wrong with a wedding cake, as theres not as important agents on the increase as other cakes ...

Use pound cake! It slices better, more freezes, and takes a good taste and everyone will be delighted! The Michaels art store also has a real good part of the decoration.
