Wedding EmbellishmentsPosted on January 25, 2010. Looking to make my wedding invitations, but need a good grip for the ornaments? I plan to make my own wedding invitations with my Cricut cutter. I do not care if they look at home, but using good old fashioned Elmers does not cut it. I do not want to crumple the paper and I do not want to glue everywhere. What type of glue should I use to glue my paper ornaments that will not look "tacky" (ha ha) Ahhhh ... no do not use any type of liquid cement to all. Do not use a glue stick, sometimes it will not hold and your guests will receive invitations that fell apart in the e-mail. You could look mucilage or E6000. The first is a brown liquid that you dab on the bottle and dries quickly. It is old fashioned and if allowed to dry can be wet - that's what you like when you lick an envelope.
