Wedding Embellishments

Wedding EmbellishmentsLooking to make my wedding invitations, but need a good grip for the ornaments?

I plan to make my own wedding invitations with my Cricut cutter. I do not care if they look at home, but using good old fashioned Elmers does not cut it. I do not want to crumple the paper and I do not want to glue everywhere. What type of glue should I use to glue my paper ornaments that will not look "tacky" (ha ha)

Ahhhh ... no do not use any type of liquid cement to all. Do not use a glue stick, sometimes it will not hold and your guests will receive invitations that fell apart in the e-mail.
You may want to invest in a machine Xyron. It coats the back of a paper into a sticker. You should be able to use the 510. Joann fabrics were under 40% discount.
If you are not Xyron. Use a runner, two-lane strip. see the link below. Dotto dots are my favorite
If you need to organize more or put on an embellishment that is 3d Zots use adhesive dots. They come in different sizes and thicknesses

You could look mucilage or E6000. The first is a brown liquid that you dab on the bottle and dries quickly. It is old fashioned and if allowed to dry can be wet - that's what you like when you lick an envelope. Office and school supply places should have it.
E6000 is high tech, clear and quite smelly for inside - the ventilation requirements. Commonly used for fixing boats things like shells of glass vases, etc. For this application, you put a small amount into a bowl or plate and pull the paper through it and apply or apply a bit with a toothpick in the puddle in the paper and squish down. Hobby and hardware stores
Try one or the other specimens so you see how he manages. E6000 in the skin will be more particularly in the puddle of water if it is used well above room temperature cool.

There are many well-known adhesive available on the market that are not sticky.

You can check at any stationary store near you. The storekeeper would be able to assist you in the best possible way.
