Wedding Postcards

Wedding PostcardsIs it strictly economical to use postcards for wedding invitations?

I can not see spending $ 500 on invitations that people rarely respond anyway. Even if they have a card back in port, people lose them, and then you must call to see if they are coming!

They can call me. Is it too expensive? I'd rather spend the extra $ $ on the fun at the wedding!

Personally, I do not consider it tacky. sending emails and calling people through Facebook, now that the sticky. but to be honest, many people might find tacky postcard to receive calls. a birthday, housewarming or shower, postcards are acceptable.

I suggest you make your own. I am my own impression prompt my computer and I put the invitation on sale (50 pcs, cards and return envelopes RSVP) for $ 16.00. expenditure of $ 32.00 is not really a big problem over expenditure $ 500 (some even spend thousands!). or you can go even cheaper and just print on cardstock and Sumthing Nice or buy the envelopes separately (in bulk).

DIY-ING have fun:)

You can do what you want, but to answer your question, yes it will look both cheap and tacky. Print something on handsome paper from your computer would be better than the idea of a postcard.

I just want to use the postcards to obtain invitations cheaper anyway people who will eventually receive them throw

Instead of postcards, just make the calls yourself.
Do one on your computer (amazing software available now adays) and bring it to store your local office supply, they may be on glossy paper for a fraction of the cost of "Invitation" position.
We make our own invitations with a model from Microsoft, and take them to the Office Depot, it will cost us $ 20 for about 100 invitations.

Keep in mind that:
1. They have very dirty and bent in the mail, and probably not so great at the finish.
2. Invites the tone for the event. People will expect it to be informal and no doubt casual clothes. Keep in mind that if you do not want.
3. You can go to Target and spend $ 30 or $ 50 to make your own at home on the computer. Do not think $ 500 is required for calls.

ah yes unless you have the wedding in a McDonald's or something

how people will react if you do not have an invitation that includes a reply card? If you think that the lack of response is bad when you send someone a SASE, you will not have any answer to a simple postcard! people could you email and it will not pass, they leave you a voicemail and you accidentally delete, and in the end you have no idea who is coming. just to prove idiotic response from the card and put a stamp on the envelope to make it as easy as possible for people to return.

Since the invitations reflect the formality of the event, I would say yes, it's a bit too informal (rather than cheap, which is also). Unless you want people to assume you have a wedding after the formality of the invitation - namely, marriage Chepa - than spend money on good calls. You can easily print it yourself. If you're really worried about spending money on postage, perhaps you need to get reasses Finance. After 100 response cards 42 cents is only $ 4.20. I do not see how $ 4.20 $ 8.40 or even who will make a huge difference in the money you spent on your reception. spend it on the invitations and have an event around class rather than using an invitation postcard.

The postcards are too cheap for a wedding invitation. You do not have to spend $ 500 for invitations. They have kits in many computer stores or even retail stores like Wal-Mart just to let you create professional looking invitations on your home computer. My stepmother was able to use one of these programs.
