Wedding Program Format

Posted on February 7, 2010.
Wedding Program FormatCould you help me understand this program treat marriage together?

I am preparing my wedding program, but did not pass the sample. I tried searching for a sample, but did not encounter anything. If you have a sample you could send me or point me in the direction of a sample that would be great - I know the details that must go into a program, but am not sure what format / layout of the program . Thank you in advance!

Here is a huge amount of examples:

On this site you can see diagrams of different programs. I think you are technically supposed to buy, but they allow you to jump on the thumbnail to get enough of the idea and can then reproduce.

Enjoy!

I'm no expert, but the program may be what you really want it. It usually includes a list of the wedding party and a list of "events" (readings, songs, etc..) But it really varies depending on your marriage. You do not have readings or songs, and maybe you do not like folding, curly-cue script that many programs seem to have.

You can give the appearance any way you like - a long, narrow leaves, a tri-fold brochure, one sheet 5X7, a folding program, circle, heart, whatever! You can include details such as the type of flowers you carry, if material, references to deceased relatives who can not be there the day of, details about your rings, so they have a special meaning ( are transmitted from one family member or so on) or anything else. The more personalized, better, in my opinion. Good luck!

The www.theknot.com, they have a whole section on programs, including samples.
