Wedding Table Themes

Posted on March 28, 2010.
Wedding Table Themes Does anyone have any ideas for topics table at a wedding?

Being independent, why do you need a theme? Remember less is more.

Yes:)

You will need to be more specific about what you had in mind.

just been to a wedding guest, and the themes were the colors of the bouquet, and gold. with gold colored tablecloths and flowers and balloons it seemed lovely.perhaps you can use the colors of the bouquet and the bridesmaids dresses?

The ideal would be to link these with the theme of your wedding. For example, if a beach wedding, you can use names of local beach, or things that you can find on the beach as "sand" or "driftwood". If your theme is happy in love, you can use the names of lucky, as "horseshoe" or "shooting star".

I also like the idea of using the words of the ceremony as "love," "honor" and "love."

You can choose a hobby or interest from you and your fiance and the name of your tables accordingly. For example, my husband and I were going to name our tables after our favorite pieces. We also thought of naming them after our favorite rollerblading, or walking to Busch Gardens (we almost got married in Willamsburg). You can also display the names in your wedding theme. For example, if you marry in the fall, the name the tables after leaf types (oak, maple, etc..) You can also take the city you get married, or a favorite city to visit, and the name of tables after attractions or monuments here, (eg - for DC, the White House, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, etc..) You can give them the names of cities you have visited or would like to visit (London, Paris, etc..) Another cute idea is to name them after famous couples (eg - Lucy and Ricky, Mickey and Minnie, etc.) Some people think that the appointment of the tables gives people who are sitting at the table an icebreaker good if they know each other, it can be a good idea to name them. I must say, we did not our name, after all the thought we put in it (we ran out of time we have all the cards and table numbers ourselves), but I always thought it was a fun idea!
Hope this helps!

-The places you have traveled together
-Things that "go together" salt and pepper to say, love and marriage, peanut butter and jam, etc.

Good luck

Try to keep in pastel colors like light pink and blues, and also anything that looks intrucitly made and expensive!
And enjoy your day, you should only have to do it once!

It depends on the flowers and the color theme that you use for your wedding.
I bought the pink table covers and then some beutiful (fake) flowers of silk ribbon flowers center pieces on tables (they were very cheap too), then - may sounds corny - but I put the heaarts the STARMIX haribo around them with love hearts and the cake was the center of the table with rose petals around it. but that was me!

You wouldnt have asked if you had something more specific in mind. But how about a diamond theme sounds expensive, but really, you can do a lot of bling bling for very reasonable.

Do you need to be more precise, and I'm sure you will have lots of ideas. I live in Scotland and have a daughter to be married to a little over three weeks. The reception is in the place where the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns was born. So we have the names of tables in place, he wrote an article about ie Brig o'Kiliecrankie etc. Tell us your theme and I'm sure many of us on Yahoo help Wil.

I love the beach theme table that is really cute here is a whole table setting that is really cute beach theme
